Your day by day itinerary
Itinerary Day 1
This day marks the beginning of your cruise with us to Banda Sea. Departure from the port of Ambon where you can board our Phinisi and take possession of your cabin!
Depending on your departure time, you'll do a check dive.
Itinerary Day 2
On this second day, you will sail to the island of Saparua, where you can explore traditional villages and experience the rich culture of the Moluccas.
You can also visit the nutmeg and clove plantations, which are the main exports of the region. On the fourth day you can snorkel in the crystal clear waters of the region.
Itinerary Day 3
Nusa Laut Island is famous for its traditional culture and crafts. You can visit the island's traditional villages and experience the rich culture of the Moluccas, but also enjoy the beach and snorkelling in the island's crystal clear waters.
Itinerary Day 4 & 5
Head to Banda Neira, a group of islands famous for its spices. The volcanic landscape is also spectacular.
During walks, you can explore the historic remains of the city, visit the local spice plantations and dive into the surrounding coral reefs to observe sharks.
You will meet the locals and discover their fascinating culture and the stories of the spice trade. The people of the Banda Islands are known for their hospitality.
Itinerary Day 6 & 7
We will sail to Gunung Api Banda where you can go on a hike to the active volcano of Gunung Api Banda. It is a challenging but rewarding hike with spectacular views of the surrounding islands. You can also enjoy scuba diving in the warm waters of the area.
The next day you can visit Ai Island, which is known for its secluded beaches and crystal clear waters.
Itinerary Day 8 & 9
Head to Koon Island, which is famous for its marine biodiversity. You can snorkel in the warm waters of the area and admire the colourful corals and rare fish species.
On the second day, you can visit the neighbouring island of Nila, which is renowned for its pristine coral reefs and white sand beaches. An ideal place for many water activities.
Itinerary Day 10
For our last day we will go to Ambon, the island rich in culture and history.
You will spend the day exploring the town of Ambon and its surroundings. You will have the opportunity to visit historical sites such as Fort Amsterdam and the Siwalima Museum.
Itinerary Day 11
It is already time to say goodbye! We will have the opportunity to exchange our best photos and anecdotes of these few days spent together.
Then, we will take you to the airport or your hotel if you want to spend a few more days in Ambon.
